Fondita achieves Excellent Rating in UN PRI Assessment

UN PRI (Principles For Responsible Investments) is the most well-known independent organization focusing on responsible investments. Fondita signed the UN PRI in 2010. The signatories are subject to extensive transparent reporting on the investment process, including several elements of sustainability.

Fondita has over the past years made significant improvements in its relevant categories, Policy Governance and Strategy, Direct Listed Equities and Confidence Building measures.

Notably for 2025, Fondita achieved the highest possible score (five stars) in confidence-building measures and maintained strong four-star ratings in both policy governance and direct equity modules. Furthermore, Fondita’s scores now significantly exceed the PRI median in all areas, including responsible investment policy elements, governance, climate change, and sustainability outcomes. Fondita also made substantial progress in stewardship and disclosure practice since the last reporting period.

As a boutique fund manager, we are incredibly proud of the result that underscores the sustainability work carried out by our small team. The results are a testament that our approach is practical, effective, and truly integrated in the investment process where we aim to produce the best value to our customers in the form of long-term returns.

As the Transparency Report and the assessment score show, we have made further steps in our stewardship and engagement practices. We believe our proactive outreach, particularly to micro-cap companies in our funds that lack extensive public data, has added significant value to our investment process by enhancing our ability to assess both fundamentals and sustainability indicators. Ongoing dialogue deepens our understanding and familiarity with our holdings. Knowing our companies inside and out is essential for delivering value to our customers in a responsible and sustainable way.
